Pinkies standing to attention, its tea-time at Esther. But these are not your nana’s scones. Inspired by retro tea-taking traditions with a Sean Connolly twist, expect tempting treats flavoured with the Mediterranean in mind, and all wrapped up in Esther’s quintessence.  

Chef Sean Connolly has curated a collection of culinary curiosities with nostalgic nods to our namesake Esther’s own kitchen. Think devilled eggs, audibly crisp spinach and ricotta hand pies, and dainty medallion fish sammies brimming with homemade tartare. Dine on glorious giant prawns with honey and chili glaze and a selection of bite-sized bits served on our shiniest silverware. 

Didn’t think we forgot about the sweets, did you? Enter our French-inspired dessert trolley. She’ll be roaming Esther, housing lemon delicious cakes with lashings of cream piled high amongst deep dishes of tiramisu, Portuguese tarts and delicate swan meringues. Take what you please, won’t you?.

Bubbles, martinis, make it two. That’s the spirit. Cocktails and wine pours are our tipple of fancy here. Of course, tea and coffee will be on high order too.

Pop the Champagne and picture yourself with luxuriously laid out delights by the sun soaked Medi shores, primed for lavish leisure lovers and seaside sipping at Esther’s High Tea.
