Esther is hosting the ultimate ode to pasta for Restaurant Month, and this is your chance to be on the guest list. For one deliciously decadent night, The Burnt Butter Table is leaving the blog and landing at Esther IRL. Yes you read that correctly – pasta-obsessed cook Emilie Pullar is joining forces with Chef Sean Connolly in Esther’s kitchen for a hand-rolled, high-glamour pasta party.
What started as a humble home experiment, The Burnt Butter Table has become a cult-followed food blog with a devoted army of home cooks — all chasing silky strands and pillowy parcels. With a focus on handmade techniques, easy-to-make sauces, and helping her followers achieve cooking confidence, for one night only, Emilie is stepping out to give Auckland a taste of her favourite flavour combinations and share her saucy secrets.
An indulgent sharing menu, designed in collaboration between Emilie and Sean, you’ll make your way through Emilie’s signature pasta creations, Esther classics two glasses of vino. A roaming cocktail cart will be delivering you a taste of Emilie’s favourite tipple plus there will be a chance to interact with Emilie and Sean and learn tips of the tagliatelle trade.
Book your tickets for an evening that’s equal parts masterclass, dinner party and pasta pilgrimage.
